Going Green

Martin Public Schools is working to become a more environmentally friendly school!
Check out the information below:
Students Work in the Martin Area Community Garden

In the spring, elementary and middle school students are able to take a day in the garden, they have planted, weeded, and learned from community members.

High school students are also able to earn community service hours during the summer by volunteering to weed, water, and pick at the garden.

The Entire Campus Recycles Paper

Our school fills two "Paper Gator" dumpsters.

High School National Honor Society Students collect the full bins

and empty them once a week.

It is a goal to have more opportunities for recycling in the future.

Solar Panels Coming Soon!

As part of the 2016 Bond project, Martin will be partnering with Superior Renewable Solutions to bring solar panels to the school.
